Many colorists like to have the binding removed for easier coloring. Always do a test on one of the name plate pages before diving into the whole book. The paper is not thick enough for markers but should withstanding gel pens and fine liners. The paper is quite thick and a cream/off white colour. Don’t worry if you forget to find them when you are absorbed in your coloring there is a legend at the end.
